I'm learning about monochrome in pictures for digital photography in school currently.
As you can see, there's a dramatic change in mood from the picture above to this.

i just picking out a few to edit and post it out first, then getting back to my school work!
I was bored yesterday so I asked if she wanted to take some picture. The sky turned dark as soon as we started snapping away as we met only after dinner.

The youngest in us is going to have a last few hours being sixteen before she turns
SEVENTEEN in the morning later. (:
I've no idea if i can join in the celebration later as I think I have night lessons but, I'll
see about that.
And, project is wearing me out seriously.
But, I'm still not taking it as serious as I should be right now.
I only have a few days to left to complete it.
Next week's today is going to be a big day for me.
Because 1) Presentation day. Joint Critic!
2) you got to guess it ;) super excited!!!

I should get back to drawing.

We made a ceramic whistle that you could choose the personality or have a pair
for couples and have our names on it! ^^
I bought a pair and make it into a keychain instead.

These photos were taken yesterday night, a few mintues before i head to bed.
I decided to light up the candle and i just love how it lights up the room so i took some pictures
with the things that are already on my lamp table (:
Note: I didn't edit any of this photos. The light source came from the candle itself with the natural lighting (:
The candle is located at the bottom left corner of the picture actually (:
Making a heart shape with my fingers and the two elastic robots there and my cup of
water that i prepared every night before i went to bed.
I got the green robot from him from one of our annivesary month and i bought another one
to make a pair of them (:
(i just feel something about robots ^^)
I laid on the bed, looking up the shadows casted by the window frames from the street lights.

I reached school at 7.30am today.
Counted very early of me to reach at this time as my dad gave me a lift to school today(:
Lesson is supposed to start at 8 though.
So the studio's door is locked and i went down to foodcourt to get a juice and came up
to see two classmates and the uncle opening the door for us.
It reminded me of the secondary school days when I used to reach school early
and Debbie would open the door for us and we will slack or try whatever means to complete
our homework in the morning before assembly. (:
My group went to NUS Alumi House yesteday morning to take some pictures of the hardscapesbefore going to school. And we took quite a few pictures for fun :D
Going to watch Harry Potter later with sisters! ^^

I'm on the bed, using laptop to do case study.
I felt that I've got not enough time again..
I'm really spoiling my eyes to use this in the dark.
I want to sleep.
But whether I could sleep peacefully without thinking about works and stuffs is
another matter.

Playing with fire

and yes as you can see, the glass of the candle is broken. (from the time i dropped the mirror and the candle was crashed down into the floor too ): i didnt throw it away as it means something to me ;) i still can light it up anyway! just that the wax will dripped out. :O

Need to dig out pictures to submit for GEMs cause i dont think i have the time
to take them by this Friday.
Slacked the whole day today.
Wanted to do work but I'm stuck and don't know what to draw.
Was around Dhoby Ghaut yesterday with a few classmates after school too.
I need to take pictures! Cherieeeeee~
I've always wanted SLR camera but I predicted that after i buy it, i would hardly take them
out and would bring the compact camera that im using now instead :/
hahahaha.
of course, the functions would be different.
but its whether how one uses them also.
compact can take nice pictures too!
its all about framing in the things we see, angle and lighting.
haha. SLR, i still need to learn and read more about all the technical stuffs first.
if not i'll just use the very basic modes.
oh well.
and one thing is the $$ too.
who want to get me one for Christmas? :X
anddd.... I'm finally meeting up with my dear sistas this Friday!

I didn't watch it yet but found that it's quite a nice song (:
Took a nap just now.
One think good about my flu is that i could 'sleep it away'.
But still not fully recovered.

I think next year's today will be pretty awesome cause it'd be 20/11/2011.
I'll be 18 then, and i believe, going through the process of End of year project like
now too.
While I'm finding inspiration images for my inspiration, which is the quilt made
by my grandmother, I felt myself getting more and more inspired as I choose
that object not because I'm drawn to it in the first place but just mainly because of the characteristics that I could extract from them like lines and patterns on the quilt.
But now when I start to gain deeper meaning from it, I find myself getting
truly inspired by this chosen object (:
But I still find myself struggling with the texts and images for the material boards
that's to be shown on Monday.
But, I'll work them out (: I believed.
And, i reached home past midnight yesterday after watching Harry Potter and the
deathly hallows at Downtown East after school with my friends.
It's pretty good! (: I like this haha.
And we took the last bus home.
And I think i caught a cold.
Kept sneezing and it's raining out there with thunder storms.
Call me back baby.
